David Garrett is a German classical violinist and recording artist. He is not at all old, only 28 years (he will be 29 as he performs in Vienna), born in Aachen, Germany, in 1981. He is known for falling and smashing his 1 Million Dollar Stradivarius violin in 2007 after a performance, but hopefully he has bought a new one by the time he enters the stage in Vienna.
