Tom Jones Vienna 2015

From the beginning of June 2015 Tom Jones will be on a tour and he will stop in Vienna as well.

Tom Jones is Welsh singer who became popular during the middle of the 1960s. Since that Jones sang all kind of genres from pop, rock, R&B to country, dance and soul and he sold over 100 million records world wide. His most notable songs are It’s Not Unusual, What’s New Pussycat, Delilah, Green, Green Grass of Home, She’s a Lady, Kiss and Sex Bomb.

So from the summer of 2015 Tom Jones will be on a tour in Europe in which he will be on stage in various European cities including Vienna as well. The first concert of the tour will be in the beginning of June 2015 in Sønderbog in Denmark.

The Tom Jones concert in Vienna will be on Sunday on the 28th June in 2015 at the Wiener Stadthalle. Before the show in Vienna Tom Jones will be on stage in Frankfurt on Friday on 26th June 2015. Tickets for the concerts are already available.

Cirque du Soleil Vienna 2015

The Cirque du Soleil will give a special and unique show in Vienna in November in 2015. The Varekai which means whatever in the Romani language is a touring production of the Cirque du Soleil which premiered in 2002 in Montreal, Canada.

The Cirque du Soleil is Canadian entertaining company which was founded in 1984 in Montreal, Canada. Cirque du Soleil often use animals and it is theatrical so it is often defined as a contemporary circus. All the shows has their own central theme and leading characters.

The Varekai show begins reimagining the story of Icarus in the Greek mythology. In the original story Icarus flew too close to the sun and fell in the sea and died but in Varekai instead of Icarus drowning in the see he falls on a magical island where he meets various exotic creatures in the lush forest.

The Cirque du Soleil Varekai will take place in Austria in Vienna at the Wiener Stadthalle from the 4th November to 8th November in 2015. Tickets for the shows are already available and can be bought from WorldTicketShop.

Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna

Eurovision or the Eurovision Song Contest is one of the most popular and watched non-sporting events in Europe. Eurovision is an annual song competition and it has been held since 1956. The countries that are participating in the contest are the members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

The European Broadcasting Union was formed in 1950. Each year every member country submits a song to perform on live tv and then the votes from each countries will decide which one is the most popular song in the competition. The Eurovision is the longest and most popular running tv shows in the world. The winner of the Eurovision has the opportunity to further their career. Several artists and bands started their career at one of the Eurovision Song Contests including ABBA who won the contest for Sweden with the sing Waterloo in 1958, Celine Dion for Switzerland who won with a French song in 1988 and the latest winner of the Eurovision Song Contest was Conchita Wurst from Austria who won the contest last year in 2014.

Every year the winner country has the opportunity to be the host country of the next Eurovision Song Contest and this year in 2015 the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Austria. It will be the 60th annual Eurovision since the first show. The show will take place in the capital of Austria in Vienna after Conchita Wurst won the contest last year in Copenhagen in Denmark with the song Rise Like a Phoenix.

Eurovision Song Contest 2015 dates and venue

The semi-finals of the Eurovision will be held on 19th May and 21st May in 2015 and the final will be 23rd May in 2015. This will be the second time Austria will be the hosting country of the contest the first time was in 1967. Every year the contest has a theme or slogan, last year it was #JoinUs and in 2015 the slogan of the Eurovision Song Contest will be Building Bridges. Austria is participating in the contest since 1957. For the competition in 2015 so far 31 countries confirmed their participation including Serbia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, France, Germany and so on. The deadline of the application to the contest was 15th September in 2014. In Vienna the competition will be held at Weiner Stadthalle in 2015.

Sting and Paul Simon concert in Vienna

Sting and Paul Simon together are giving concerts in 2014 and 2015, and on the fools-day 2015 (April 1st), they will perform together in Stadthalle in Vienna.

Sting is an English musician, songwriter, singer. He is best known as the songwriter and lead singer of the band The Police and his solo career. He received 16 Grammy awards, three Brit awards, an Emmy award, a Golden Globe award during his solo career and with The Police too. He even had many Oscar nominates. Paul Simon is also a musician, singer and songwriter. His success started in 1940 when the duo ‘Simon and Garfunkel’ was formed. The ‘Sound of Silence’, ‘Mrs Robinson’ and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ reached number 1 on the U.S. singles chart. After the duo split up Simon started a really successful solo career and he released three albums over the years.

Sting and Paul Simon are giving concerts and touring in the USA, Canada, Australia and in Europe as well. They are on stage in many European countries such as Germany, UK, Italy, France and Austria as well. The concert in Austria will be in Vienna 1st April 2015. Michael Buble is a Canadian singer, songwriter and producer. He is incredibly popular, and now he is coming to Vienna.

He was nominated to many awards and he won four Grammy awards and several Juno awards as well. His first album was really popular in Canada and in the UK. His first biggest outbreak was in 2005 when he got worldwide known with his album the It’s Time, in 2007 another of his album came out the Call Me Irresponsible which reached number one on many charts including the Canadian Albums Chart, the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart, the UK albums chart and other European and Australian charts as well. His latest album the To Be Loved was also a great success. The new album was published in 2013.

Michael Buble is touring with his new album and he will have plenty of concerts in Europe and in Argentina, Chile and Brazil as well. He will give big concerts in most of the European countries such as UK, Germany, Poland, Hungary and even in Austria as well. The concert in Austria will be in the Austrian capital Vienna. The concert will take place in the Weiner Stadthalle 5th November 2014 right after the Hungarian concert which is just a day before. Katy Perry is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She released her first album Katy Hudson in 2001. After her first album came out she moved to Los Angeles and a few years later she recorded a collaborative album with the Matrix which was released in 2009. Now she is coming to Vienna!

She had her first greater success when she released ‘I Kissed a Girl’ of One of the Boys, which was her second album. Her third album was the Teenage Dream which came out in 2010. Katy Perry started touring in 2014 summer in North-America and her next stop will be Europe later this year. Slash is a British-American musician and songwriter. He was the lead guitarist of Guns and Roses and the group achieved great success and got worldwide known in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Slash came out with three solo albums, the first was Slash which was released in 2010 then the second solo album the Apocalyptic came out two years later in 2012. His third one was released in 2014 the World on Fire which was recorded with the singer and guitarist Myles Kennedy.
